Claude Fable 5 is back online. Use it with claude --model claude-fable-5.

We recommend upgrading Claude Code to 2.1.198: run claude update. The minimum supported version is 2.1.170.

Note: this model is only available on the Claude Max 20x subscription endpoint. If you use another endpoint, switch it first in the console under Endpoint selection.
